Found in Northwest Alabama - any idea what it is, Robbie?
This is the larvae of a beetle in the genus Phengodes- more commonly known as “glow worms”. These guys are predators of millipedes, as can be seen below

perhaps more excitingly, the name “glowworm” isn’t just for show- these guys actually are bio-luminescent!

Also the adults are adorable
lookit those cute little antenna! (also one of the weirdest looking beetles of all time)

This is neat! I’m not a big fan of insects but this is pretty awesome.
