on the importance of scrubs that fit correctly
while buying lunch in the hospital cafeteria today, i was witness to an interesting moment.
a young twenty-something in scrubs bent over to pick up her credit card she dropped…and her pants were either too loose or too tight.
she bent over, the pants slid down and exposed her bottom to everyone in line.
i say bottom and not underpants because she happened to be wearing a white string...

Why aren’t there any biomarker studies done on local organisms? Most of the papers I read are all done in the UK or China. I would love to read a paper on ecotoxicology in the local context. Other than Dr Chew’s mudskipper and swamp eel papers that is.

I’ve never had so many different conflicting feelings about a book before. All I know is that towards the end, I had to read it aloud, to an empty room, repeating lines over and over, making sure I understood and I could feel, every grain of meaning.
I have never felt such an appreciation for pain before, and I have never felt quite as happy to be unhappy before.

i just got called anti-american because i believe in “equality” and not “freedom”
also apparently i am a “statist utopianist” which i think this person made up
also being a “utopianist”, i.e. someone who desires a utopia, i.e. a perfect society, is apparently counter to American Freedom. Which, is itself a form of utopianism
